Saint Louis Fashion Fund Announces New Board Members

St. Louis, MO, March 23, 2023 – Saint Louis Fashion Fund, a nonprofit and long-recognized face and voice of fashion for the St. Louis Region, has named the following to its Board of Directors: Jessica Tavares and Dan Kramer.

Tavares, Assistant Vice President of Car Sales at Enterprise Holdings Inc., is responsible for working with Senior Management on projects and strategic initiatives. In this role, Tavares also supports sales teams in accomplishing their customer service, talent development and growth goals. Her fast-track career began in 2005 in Tampa, Florida. In 2011, she was promoted to Area Car Sales Manager charged with leading the business and expanding market share within her dealership.  This included talent acquisition and development, sales management, inventory management, and strategic partner relationships. In 2013, she was then promoted to Group Car Sales Manager in Southwest Florida providing advanced-level strategic direction of the retail sales operations, while also overseeing all areas of the business with direct responsibility for creating an exceptional customer experience in dealerships, employee development and retention, market share growth, and profit performance. After serving in similar roles in Boston and Philadelphia in 2017 and 2018 respectively, she was recently promoted to AVP of Car Sales. In addition, she is active in the philanthropic community and has served on multiple Go Red for Women Boards for the American Heart Association, the United way and currently serves on the MOBAP (Missouri Baptist Hospital) Community Advisory Board.

Kramer, General Manager, of Neiman Marcus at Plaza Frontenac, has headed up the luxury brand since 2021. Prior to that, he had been General Manager of Neiman Marcus at Copley Place in Boston for 12 years.  Dan first joined Neiman Marcus in 2006 as Assistant General Manager for its Michigan Avenue location in Chicago. His extensive fashion experience began with Lord & Taylor in their Executive Training program working for the retail giant for 24 years holding various positions until becoming its General Manager and worked in this capacity in their Chicago, Dallas, and St. Louis locations. He was responsible for opening the Lord & Taylor in West County in St. Louis in 2002. While in Boston, he was an active member of the Boys & Girls Club and currently is a member of FGI (Fashion Group International) St. Louis.
