Global Threads will shine a  spotlight on St. Louis’ talented fashion workforce in February, 2024.  A coordinated effort is underway to expand local design and production companies while building a workforce skilled in the latest manufacturing equipment and techniques.

Join The Collective Thread’s advanced on-the-job training program by becoming a Sponsor of the annual Fashion Show Fundraiser on February 29, 6-9 p.m., at the 21c Hotel  6-9pm.  The event benefits the talented “makers”  in St. Louis, by offering them advanced career opportunities through on the job training. 

St. Louis-based designer Paulie Gibson will collaborate with The Collective Thread’s team to create one of a kind designs.  Other fabulous local designers that will be featured are Lukas Roe and Shanna Britta!

The Collective Thread focuses on hiring residents of underserved communities including immigrants and refugees. Their employees operate the region’s only independent cut and sew factory, located in the heart of the Garment District on Washington Avenue.
