More than 200 guests gathered at the Missouri History Museum to honor the influential people who made Saint Louis' Garment District the center for fashion and design. We premiered the "Light Up The Zipper" video, a NoCoast Original, which highlighted Saint Louis' Garment District and the people who helped make it the thriving district it once was- second only to New York. Our Fashion Incubator designers and staff, along with the film crew, escorted the stars of the film down a red carpet, while Susan Sherman discussed their legacies. Event chair, Fran Zamler (wearing a fabulous vintage dress) toasted the crowd and all of their accomplishments. We also revealed our Fashion Trunk to the crowd (generously donated by Lori Sale and Fran Slutsky) so be sure to check out our up coming events to find out where it will be next.
